action

Life porn tells the story of a group of artists in Amsterdam who no longer believe in their chances. Claire is an unsuccessful actress. She compensates for her loneliness with quick anonymous sex. Her friend Romy has a more philosophical view of life: "a traumatic experience is a great learning process". Jim suffers from his broken heart. He still regrets the separation from his HIV- infected friend Johan.

Magali and Loete are the driving forces behind the group. When the Berlin nightclub Komet Loete invites you to stage an erotic show, everyone travels to Germany. Thorwald, owner of Komet, is married to the fashion designer Marianne. They have a five-year-old daughter together. Feeling like a prisoner of this marriage, Thorwald begins to identify with the group's wild, unbridled behavior. Marianne feels how she is slowly losing her husband and finds support in a destructive affair.

All euphoria disappears when there are no spectators and the show becomes a failure. The group takes refuge in excessive drinking and sex rituals. In a surreal moment, the Virgin Mary appears . It offers the group the opportunity to become "happy". But the artists quickly discover that “happiness” is not a model for everyone. One also has to deal with happiness . So everyone is forced to make drastic decisions.
