Phantom Party is an English-language comedy film by Edwin Brienen from 2009. The film is, in a pseudo-documentary way, about a low-budget film shoot that takes place in a luxury hotel suite. In addition to normal film scenes, experimental real-time recordings are inserted without editing.

action

Jerome Gold (Tomas Spencer) is an idealistic filmmaker with the ambition to make a first-class art - house film . To his chagrin, however, only the discarded porn actress Tamara Bonita Eva Dorrepaal is available as the leading actress. Due to her lack of English skills, the already chaotic production is about to be abandoned. In addition, a group of neo-communist filmmakers kidnapped the leading actress to Bulgaria and forced her to read a text about the influence of sexuality on Marxism in an al-Qaida- like YouTube video . Jerome's production collapses like a house of cards and he tries to save what can be saved. When he tries to cut the film in the studio, however, he is murdered by the neo-communists.
