Convinced that she could get everything out of her life, Raina starts a relationship with the psychologically injured Nick. Their tendencies towards excessive behavior keep the relationship alive. However, an abortion kept secret by Raina cools the relationship between the two.
Isabelle, on the other hand, is trapped in a mechanical marriage . Nevertheless, she loves her husband and does not leave him. All around Isabelle, on the streets, hell is raging for her. A reality that she cannot deal with. Isabelle is being hunted by invisible pursuers.
As the ultimate humiliation, Nick decides to order a prostitute in the presence of Raina. After watching them both having sex, the psychological distress becomes too much for Raina and she attempts suicide . When Isabelle and Raina finally meet in a church , they both decide to take their fate into their own hands.
