Revision - Apocalypse II is a drama film with political undertones and elements of horror. The director was Edwin Brienen . The American-German-Dutch co-production from 2009 plays with topics such as terrorism , globalism , mind control and the New World Order, so it was inspired by the common conspiracy theories . The film is the second part of Brienen's Apocalypse trilogy. Like other Brienen films, Revision also has a dark undertone, lacks a certain looseness or black humor in comparison to other works. The film premiered at the Dutch Film Festival in September 2010. In spring 2012, Revision will receive its belated German premiere .

action

A totalitarian world. Traci, a former model, feels threatened by an indefinable energy. She used to have a belief in God, today she feels an emptiness because she has eliminated her belief. Her husband, Charlie, convinces her to give in to absolute evil: the murder of a human. In a bar, Traci meets businessman Bob Dunning, whom she invites over to her home. In a bloody scene, Traci kills the stranger, but reality and fantasy mix. Persecuted by her inner demon Vince Destructo, Traci sinks into madness and lets herself be redeemed by a copulating Christ who finally heralds the day of judgment.

Soundtrack

"Revision" includes songs from the 2005 album Everything Must Be Destroyed by The House of Destructo . The concept album covers the same themes as the film and the film character Vince Destructo was inspired by Vincent Koreman, the singer and composer. The New York artist The Horrorist can also be seen in the film with his song "Sex Machine". A soundtrack CD was included as a bonus on the first limited Dutch DVD release.

background
