Viva Europe! is a German fiction film by the Dutch director Edwin Brienen from 2009 . The film was shot as part of the “20 Years Fall of the Wall ” activities and premiered on November 8, 2009 at the Volksbühne in Berlin . Joachim Witt , also seen in a short role, wrote the final song for the film.

Viva Europe! takes place on November 9th, 2009, twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall . After circus clown Jonathan (Godehard Giese) is fired, he meets the Polish prostitute Olga ( Agnieszka Rozenbajgier ). You spend the night in a hotel room and recap twenty years of European unity. While Jonathan holds a hysterical and political monologue on communism in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, the circus director Yakov (Hendrik Arnst) is threatened with expulsion. Olga's Eastern European pimps harass the whore Lola ( Laura Tonke ) and decide to take revenge on Olga, who has not fulfilled her obligations.
