The Onu Laran (other names: Lokon Quiarsecu , Quiarsecu ) is a lake in the East Timorese Suco Beiseuc ( Tilomar administrative office ). Until 2015 the lake belonged to the Suco Lalawa . It is the largest lake in the municipality of Cova Lima and is located in the south of the Sucos, near the coast of the Timor Sea , in the extreme southwest of the country.
The bank is covered with tall sedge, the entire lake is surrounded by swampy forest. The entire area has an area of about 30 hectares. It belongs to the Important Bird Area of Tasitolu and is a nature reserve.
