To the north, across the Maubui River , is the Fohorem administrative office with its Sucos Fohoren and Dato Rua , to the northwest the Fatumean administrative office with its Sucos Nanu and Belulic Leten . In the west and southwest, Beiseuc borders on the Indonesian district of East Kobalima ( Malaka administrative district , East Nusa Tenggara province ). The Masin forms the border to the neighboring state . The Lenuk flows into it . The Kalao rises in the north and flows into the Maubui. The Maubui is a source river of the Tafara . Before the 2015 regional reform, Beiseuc had an area of 42.54 km². The reform brought the Suco territorial gains from Suco Lalawa, including We Taba , Walabaru and Tulaeduc Bawah , Lake Onu Laran and the border crossing to Indonesia in Motamasin . The area of Beiseuc is now 66.01 km².

In the northwest is the village of Foholulic ( Foholulik , Foho Lulic ), in the center is the place Walatama ( Walalama ) and in the south We Taba , Tulaeduc Bawah ( Tulaiduk Bawah ) and Walabaru . Baer is located between the Kalao and Maubui rivers . There are primary schools in Foholulic and Fatuc Metan ( Escola Primaria Fatuc Metan ).

history
The Bunak in Beiseuc and in the higher part of Lalawa came in a large stream of refugees from Bobonaro when they fled the Japanese army during World War II . Allied guerrilla units had operated against the Japanese from Lolotoe and the town of Bobonaro , whereupon the Japanese troops carried out retaliation against the civilian population in Bobonaro in August 1942, probably killing tens of thousands of people and displacing others.
On April 23, 1999, violence broke out in Beiseuc during the unrest around the independence referendum in East Timor . Three supporters of independence from Indonesia were murdered and another disappeared from the village of Niquiir. The Indonesian military and the pro-Indonesian militia Laksaur destroyed several houses in the village of Fatuc Metan and tortured residents. 950 residents fled to a church and a school. The local leader of the Laksaur militia, Miguel Mau , was therefore sentenced on November 26, 2003 to nine years in prison. The chief in command of Laksaur was Olivio Mendonça Moruk (also known as Alisio Mau ). The public labor officer was formerly Chefe de Suco von Beiseuc (then Foholulik ) but was fired for corruption and sexual abuse.
