The Opština Kriva Palanka ( Macedonian Крива Паланка ) is one of the Opštini of North Macedonia . Its administrative headquarters are in the town of Kriva Palanka . The Opština Kriva Palanka is part of the north-eastern region of North Macedonia. Mainly grain and wine are produced in the Opština.
The local football club of Kriva Palanka has been FC Osogovo since 1934 , named after the largest mountain range in the region.
geography
The Opština borders Bulgaria to the east, Serbia to the north, Rankovce opština to the west, Kratovo to the southwest, and Kočani and Makedonska Kamenica to the south .
The Opština is characterized by numerous springs, streams and rivers. The river Kriva flows through the Opština Kriva Palanka, which is located in the Rodopskih valley and at the same time is one of the most important groundwater suppliers.
