Open International de Squash de Nantes 2018

The Open International de Squash de Nantes 2018 took place from September 4th to 9th, 2018 in Nantes , France . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2018/19 and belonged to the PSA Challenger Tour 30 category . At the same time, a women's squash tournament of the 2018/19 PSA World Tour took place. It belonged to the PSA Challenger Tour 20 category . The venue was the Théâtre Graslin , an opera house.

Last year's winner was Grégoire Marche , who was eliminated in the semi-finals against eventual winner Declan James . James, seeded in second place, prevailed in the final against the top seeded James Willstrop with 2:11, 11: 9, 5:11, 11: 9 and 11: 9. In the women’s category, Nele Gilis also won over Emily Whitlock in five sets .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 24 players. The eight best players were seeded and given a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard received Benjamin Aubert , Sébastien Bonmalais and Christophe André respectively a starting position in the main field.
