OPUS is a "culture magazine for Saarland and the Greater Region" that has been published every two months since May 2007 with a circulation of 8,000 by the Saarkultur publishing house. The editors are Klaas Huizing , who was also editor-in-chief in the first few years, and Kurt Bohr , who is now the chief editor.

Alignment

The magazine is looking for its own account a mix of feuilletonistischer , national political reflection, cultural and historical background information on current events in the Saar-Lor-Lux -Großregion and ends, especially in the online -Issue with event announcements. The articles appear predominantly in German, some also in French and Luxembourgish.

The print edition of the magazine was initially free of advertisements for a large part , which has changed noticeably since 2010, with cultural organizers increasingly placing advertisements that are often directly linked to the editorial section.

The periodical is published in glossy paper magazine format. The booklets are divided into the categories current art, music, architecture, literature, history and memory, film, cultural politics, modern life and a focus.
