Orazio Soricelli (born July 9, 1952 in Calvi , Benevento province , Italy ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and Archbishop of Amalfi-Cava de 'Tirreni .

Life

Orazio Soricelli received on 11 September 1976, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 3, 2000, Pope John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Amalfi-Cava de 'Tirreni. The Archbishop of Naples , Michele Cardinal Giordano , donated him episcopal ordination on June 30 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Benevento , Serafino Sprovieri , and the Bishop of Nola , Beniamino Depalma CM .

He is Grand Officer of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and Prior of the Commandery of Amalfi-Cava de Tirreni-Amalfi.
