Ordem Funu Nain

The Ordem Funu Nain ( German  Order Lord of War ) is an order of East Timor .

background

The Ordem Funu Nain is awarded posthumously to the “ martyrs of the national freedom struggle” against the Indonesian occupation of East Timor , who perished between 1975 and 1978. The order was created together with other awards for veterans with the law 3/2006 "Estatuto dos Combatentes da Libertação Nacional" ( German  statute of fighters of national liberation ). The medal is awarded in three degrees. Fighters who perished after the time of the resistance bases from January 1, 1979, are awarded the Falintil .

The order shows the central elements of the coat of arms of East Timor and bears the Portuguese inscription "Honra e Glória" ( German  honor and fame ) on the reverse .
