Eduardo Ximenes
Eduardo Ximenes ( fighting name : Maliex ) was an East Timorese politician from FRETILIN .
In 1975 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Health in the first cabinet of the state of East Timor, which was proclaimed on November 28th. Ximenes was killed in the fight against the Indonesians , who openly began to invade the neighboring country on December 7th. Posthumously he received the Ordem Funu Nain and the regional hospital in Baucau was named "Hospital Regional Eduardo Ximenes".
