Orestis Kiomourtzoglou (born May 7, 1998 in Munich ) is a German soccer player with Greek roots. The midfielder is under contract with Heracles Almelo and is a young German national player.

Career

society

Kiomourtzoglou started playing football in 2005 as a seven-year-old in the youth of SpVgg Unterhaching . After playing through the various youth teams in Unterhaching, he made his debut on July 17, 2015, the first match day of the 2015/16 season in the first team game against FC Ingolstadt 04 II in the Bayern Regionalliga , as the 84th minute of play for Maximilian Bauer was substituted on. Two minutes after being substituted on, he scored his first goal in the senior division to make it 2-2. On July 28, 2017, the 2nd matchday of the 2017/18 season, he made his debut in a 3-2 win against Karlsruher SC in professional football, after he had previously been promoted to the 3rd division with Unterhaching. In the second leg against Karlsruher SC (21st matchday), which was lost 3-1 on January 20, 2018, Kiomourtzoglou scored his first professional goal.

After fourteen years with the game association, the central midfielder announced his move to the Dutch Eredivisie at Club Heracles Almelo in 2019 . Since his first league appearance for Almelo in the 1-1 draw against Fortuna Sittard on August 11, 2019, he has been a regular starter.

National team

In October 2019, the offensive player was nominated by national coach Stefan Kuntz for the German U21 and thus for the first time for a German national team; he was substituted on in the 1-1 draw against Spain .
