Orkan Balkan (born March 12, 1987 in Munich ) is a Turkish football player who also has German citizenship .

Life

The midfielder , who is also used as a right full-back, played in his youth for TSV Forstenried, TSV 1860 Munich and then from 2003 for SpVgg Unterhaching .

After he was initially a top performer in the second team, he was first used by coach Werner Lorant on the 31st match day of the 2006/07 season in the 2nd Bundesliga . After the relegation of SpVgg to the Regionalliga Süd , he was part of the first team's squad.

Balkan scored his first professional goal on matchday two of the 2009/10 season against the second team of Bayern Munich . After the 2010/11 season, his contract with Unterhaching was not extended.

On August 22, 2011, the Turkish first division club Orduspor announced the commitment to the Balkans for three years. After a season he left this club and moved to the Turkish third division club Çankırıspor . From summer 2014 to June 2015 he belonged to the Bayern league club SV Pullach .
