Orsolya Várkonyi (born January 16, 1989 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian football player .

Life

Football career

Várkonyi began her professional career with 1. FC Femina from Pestújhely, Budapest . Here she played for two years in the Női NB I, the first women's soccer league, and in the summer of 2003 she moved to MTK Budapest FC . She played for MTK Budapest for four years and in July 2007 she joined the club Viktória FC from Szombathely . Várkonyi only played 22 games in her two years in Szombathely and in 2009 decided to move to Soproni, where she signed with FAC . She quickly became a shooting star at Soproni FAC, scoring 44 goals in just 27 games. This quota earned her a contract with Pécsi MFC in January 2011, where she played until June 2011. On July 15, 2011, I went to Austria to the USC Landhaus Wien .

International

Várkonyi is a former U-19 national player and is currently in the extended squad of the senior national team.

Futsal career

In addition to her footballing career, she played in Hungary for various clubs at futsal level . She played for Iris-Budapest SC in the Női Futsal, 2009 in the Női Futsal NB I - NB II osztályozó for Dunavarsányi TE and until her move to Austria for Rubeola FC in the Női Futsal NB II Felső-ág.
