The Osjornaja ( Russian Озёрная ) is a 48 km long tributary of the Sea of Okhotsk on the Russian peninsula of Kamchatka .
River course
The Osjornaja forms the outflow of the Kurilensee , a 104 m high crater lake not far from the southern tip of the Kamchatka Peninsula. The Osjornaja leaves the lake on its west bank and flows in a predominantly westerly direction to the sea. Osernowski is located at the mouth of the Sea of Okhotsk . The Osjornaja drains an area of about 1030 km².
Fish fauna
The endangered sockeye salmon use the Osjornaya river system as spawning waters . The sustainability-oriented fishery of this salmon population has been certified.
