The Oskar-von-Miller-Straße 10 power station in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen, is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under number D-6-72-114-323 .

history

The power station with machine and power house was built in 1905 by Oskar von Miller . The facility is a single-storey double hall with saddle roofs , corner blocks and decorative gables, as well as a former administrative building in the north. The administration building is a two-storey hipped roof building with corner blocks.

The machine house belonging to the power station houses technical equipment from the 1920s.

At the neighboring address Oskar-von-Miller-Straße 12 is the former civil servants' residence belonging to the power station.
