Oskar Graemer

Oskar Graemer (born June 30, 1883 in Koblenz , † June 9, 1930 in Rheydt ) was a German administrative lawyer and municipal official.

Life

Graemer was the son of a factory owner of the same name. He started at the University of Marburg to study law and was (a week before of 23 January 1904 Rudolf Haarmann ) in the Corps Teutonia Marburg recipiert . As an inactive , he moved to the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . Since 1906 trainee lawyer, in 1907 he became Dr. iur. PhD. He passed the assessor examination in 1911 and moved to the municipal administration of the Rhine Province . Since 1912 city assessor and since 1913 alderman , he was elected mayor of Rheydt for 12 years in 1920 . Presumably due to illness, he resigned from office in 1929. He died shortly before his 47th birthday. He was married to Elisabeth born in 1913. Aretz from Krefeld. The marriage has a son and a daughter.
