Theodor Ewald Oskar von Reichenbach (born May 6, 1848 in Eberswalde , † January 26, 1922 in Braunschweig ) was a Prussian lieutenant general .

Life

origin

Reichenbach came from a noble family whose imperial nobility was confirmed in Vienna on November 21, 1719 . He was the son of the Prussian Colonel Ernst von Reichenbach (1813-1893) and his wife Hermine, née Kähne (1821-1904).

Military career

After graduating from school, Reichenbach embarked on a Prussian military career and as Lieutenant General from March 20, 1906 to March 4, 1908, he was in command of the 2nd Division .

family

On September 23, 1880 he married in Groß Lichterfelde Agathe Lehrs (born August 9, 1858 in Berlin , † May 18, 1932 in Braunschweig), the daughter of the Jewish businessman Philipp Lehrs and Margarete Behrend. From this marriage two daughters and two sons were born.
