Osoyoos ( IPA : [ ɒsɔɪjuːs ]) is an in Okanagan located -Tal small town in southern British Columbia directly on the border with the US state of Washington . In the city, Highway 97, which runs in north-south direction, and Crowsnest Highway ( Highway 3 ), which runs in east-west direction, intersect .

Here is Osoyoos Lake , which is one of the warmest lakes in the country with a water temperature of 24 ° C. North of Osoyoos is Canada's only hot desert . Demographics

The 2011 census revealed a population of 4,845 residents for the small town. The population increased by 2.0% compared to the 2006 census, while the population in British Columbia grew by 7.0%.
