Sven-Oswald Mildh

Sven-Oswald "Ossi" Mildh (born May 12, 1930 in Helsinki ; † September 16, 2015 ibid.) Was a Finnish sprinter and hurdler .

In 1952 he retired from the Olympic Games in Helsinki over 400 m in the 4-by-400-meter relay in each case in the preliminary run.

At the European Athletics Championships in 1954 in Bern, he won bronze over the 400 m hurdles and in the 4 x 400 meter relay .

In 1956 he came at the Olympic Games in Helsinki over 400 m hurdles and in the 4 x 400 meter relay again not beyond the first round.

At the EM in 1958 in Stockholm he reached the semi-finals over 400 m hurdles.

Four times he was Finnish champion over 400 m hurdles and once each over 400 m and 110 m hurdles .
