The Osterau is a source brook of the Broklandsau in the district of Dithmarschen in Schleswig-Holstein .
The stream has a length of approx. 7 km. The Osterau rises in the district forest Welmbüttel at the old ponds near the highest point Norderdithmarschens the "Rugebarg" with 72 m above sea level. NN .
