Ostra Records is a French independent label . It was founded in Lyon in 2006 .
history
The label mainly relocates metal bands from Death Doom and Funeral Doom . The best-known representatives of the label include Mournful Congregation , Mourning Dawn , Ataraxie and Bethlehem . The label only publishes albums sporadically and these mostly in limited numbers. Ostra Records often stands for the performers in relation to other cooperation partners in the case of publications that have been published in this way. The publications are available either on CD-R , CD or as a vinyl record .
Between the time it was founded in 2006 and 2013, 15 publications appeared on the label. There have been no subsequent publications since then.
