Otakar I. (Traungau)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Otakar I. († probably 907 ), probably from the house of the Aribones , was count in Carantania in 904 and royal emissary in the Bavarian Ostmark . Presumably he was the builder of the Stiraburg ( Steyr ). Because one of his sons was called Aribo, it is assumed that he was a son-in-law or son of the Margrave of the Ostmark and Count in the Traungau Aribo .
