Otto Alexander Banck

Otto Alexander Banck (born March 17, 1824 in Magdeburg , † May 5, 1916 in Dresden ) was a German publicist and writer.

Life

He was the brother of the composer Carl Banck . He studied philosophy and history. In 1845 he traveled to Italy and after his return settled in Dresden. From 1857 onwards he lived in Munich for several years, then returned to Dresden in 1864. From 1871 he was the features editor and from 1886 to 1894 editor-in-chief of the Dresdener Journal .
