Otto Biffé

Otto Georg Biffé (born July 8, 1878 in Wallerfangen ; † December 1917 at Cambrai ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Otto Biffé studied law at the University of Jena and the Kaiser-Wilhelms-University of Strasbourg .

He became a member of the Corps Saxonia Jena (1897) and the Corps Palatia Strasbourg (1898). After completing his studies, he entered the (imperial) administrative service of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . He was an assessor in Saarburg and a government assessor in Metz . From 1913 to 1916 he was district director of the Erstein district . Biffé then took part in the First World War as captain of the reserve and fell in 1917 at the Battle of Cambrai .
