Otto Friedrich Wilhelm Jobst Bock von Wülfingen (born April 18, 1855 in Hanover ; † September 29, 1937 there ) was a Prussian major general and member of the House of Representatives .

Life

He was a representative of the Lower Saxon noble family Bock von Wülfingen . His ancestors come from the I. (Lutheran) line, which can be traced back to Kurt Bock von Wülfingen (1545–1628). The progenitor of the branch Bockerode , from which Otto Bock von Wülfingen comes, was Jobst Gabiel Bock von Wülfingen (1678-1743). His father was the Hanoverian Major Andreas Bock von Wülfingen (1821–1863), his grandfather the Hanoverian Lieutenant General Karl Bock von Wülfingen .

Like many of his family members, Wülfingen also embarked on a military career and was most recently major general. From 1900 to 1905 he was in command of the Brandenburg Jäger Battalion No. 3 stationed in Lübben . From April 22, 1905 to September 16, 1909, he commanded the Grenadier Regiment "King Friedrich Wilhelm IV." (1st Pomeranian) No. 2 and then the 68th Infantry Brigade in Metz .

After retiring from military service, Wülfingen was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1912 to 1918.

Otto Bock von Wülfingen married Elfriede Kaszemek (* 1873) from Piaten in Berlin on March 17, 1915 .
