Otto Ehrmann

Otto Ehrmann (* 1851 in Waibstadt ; † August 11, 1928 in Heidelberg ) was a German architect and municipal building officer .

Otto Ehrmann studied at the Technical University of Karlsruhe . During his military service in 1877, as Vice Sergeant, he was awarded the Silver Rescue Medal Grand Duke Friedrich I.

From 1888 to 1921 he worked for the municipal building administration of the city of Heidelberg. His buildings there include the administration building and the clock tower of the slaughterhouse in 1893 , the Landfriedsche Bürgerstift in 1899, the administration building of the slaughterhouse in 1903, the Mönchhofschule in 1903, the west and east wings of the Neuenheim schoolhouse in 1903 and 1905 , the central building, the east wing and west wing of the school in 1906 and 1909 later Wilckensschule. He was also responsible for the preparation of the municipal collections in the Palais Morass , as well as for the expansion of the whey cure .
