Otto Hagedorn (born September 7, 1899 in Kelbra / Saxony ; † 20th century) was Lord Mayor of the city ​​of Lüdenscheid .

Life

Otto Hagedorn was employed as a candidate at the Sangerhausen District Office when he had to do military service in December 1916 . After the war he found a job as a civil servant candidate at the Sangerhausen pension office. In 1922 he came to the district government of Arnsberg and in April 1926 took the exam for the senior service . On July 17, 1930, he received the certificate of appointment as a civil servant for life. Before Hagedorn was appointed mayor of Netphen on September 19, 1933 , he worked as a government inspector. In 1935 he was appointed mayor of the Werdohl community . The inauguration as provisional Lord Mayor of the city of Lüdenscheid fell on February 22, 1944. From August 15, 1944 he was definitely in this office, where he remained until April 13, 1945. Shortly after the end of the war, on May 19, 1945, Hagedorn was dismissed from service as a dedicated National Socialist by the District President Arnsberg . From May 2, 1945 to January 13, 1948 he was interned for political reasons. The sources do not provide any information about a possible denazification process.

From May 8, 1925, Hagedorn was a member of the NSDAP (membership no. 16.395) and holder of the Golden Party Badge of the NSDAP and the service award of the NSDAP . He was also a member of the SA and had the rank of Sturmbannführer (comparatively major). From 1933 to 1935 and from 1938 he was head of the district office for local politics at the NSDAP district leadership.
