Otto Kannengießer (born August 19, 1893 in Perleberg ; † October 9, 1958 ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending school, Kannengießer joined the Guard Fusilier Regiment in Berlin in 1912 . From 1914 he took part with this in the First World War: After he was wounded in Russia in December 1914 and was promoted to sergeant in 1915, Kannengießer was transferred to the 2nd Guards Regiment on foot in 1916 . After the war, in which he acquired the Iron Cross 2nd class, Kannengießer worked as a master roofer.

In the 1920s, Kannengießer joined the NSDAP. In this he made it to the district leader and representative of the NSDAP for Westprignitz and Wittenberge . After 1933 he also served as a member of the board of the Berlin Chamber of Crafts, as Deputy Reich Guild Master for the roofing trade .

From March 1932 to autumn 1933, Kannengießer was a member of the Prussian state parliament . From November 1933 until the end of Nazi rule in spring 1945 he was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of constituency 4 (Potsdam). In addition, there was the office of 1st district deputy of the Westprignitz district.
