Otto Kurbadt

Otto Kurbadt (* 1905 in Hanover ; † in the 20th or 21st century ) was a German painter and graphic artist .

Life

At the time of National Socialism , numerous works by Kurbadt were exhibited.

Also from the 1930s and in the post-war period , Kurbadt took part in various spring and autumn exhibitions of Lower Saxony artists organized by the Kunstverein Hannover . A solo exhibition in the Turm-Galerie-Bonn in 1943, including an exhibition catalog, is also known.

Kurbadt's watercolor, created in 1936, with a picture of the Maschsee in the year of its official inauguration, was shown almost half a century later in the joint exhibition in Hannover organized by the Hannover Art Association in the Hannover Historical Museum . Artists of the 20th century see Hanover and Hanoverians on display.

Awards

In 1934 Otto Kurbadt received the Günther Wagner Prize from the German Association of Artists.
