Otto Lindenmeyer

Otto Lindenmeyer (born June 2, 1866 in Merchingen ; † May 25, 1952 in Augsburg ) was a German entrepreneur in the textile industry in Augsburg.

life and work

Lindenmeyer initially managed textile companies, including in Switzerland and Great Britain, before moving to Augsburg to gain a foothold in the flourishing textile industry. From 1911 to 1942 he was a board member and commercial director of the mechanical cotton spinning and weaving mill in Augsburg. In 1937 he was appointed chairman of the board and general manager. Lindenmeyer was later a member and chairman of various textile associations. He was awarded the honorary title of Privy Councilor of Commerce .
