Otto Müller (born December 13, 1926 ) is a former German football player. In 1960 he played for SC Aufbau Magdeburg in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

From the few sources on the football career of Magdeburgers Otto Müller shows only that he in 1952 for the then Sports Association (BSG) motor center of Magdeburg, the forerunner of 1. FC Magdeburg, in the second-rate DDR-Liga played. For the 1952/53 season four stakes are given. There is no information available for the seasons 1953/54 and 1954/55. Reliable information is only available for the 1956 season (calendar season). During this season he was used in the GDR league in 20 of 26 point games. In 1957 the soccer section of BSG Motor Mitte was taken over by the newly founded SC Aufbau Magdeburg . Otto Müller remained a regular player and played 21 points games in 1957 and 1958. When the SC structure made it into the GDR league in the 1959 season , Müller was there with 24 stakes. When the league season began in 1960, Otto Müller was already 33 years old, but was still part of the Magdeburg squad. He was also used from the start of the season as a left defender and played thirteen consecutive point games except for one encounter. Then he ended his career as a competitive footballer.
