Otto Münkel

Otto Münkel (born June 13, 1875 in Hanover , † June 19, 1939 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf ) was a German administrative lawyer and parliamentarian.

Life

Münkel studied law at the University of Marburg and became a member of the Corps Teutonia Marburg there in 1894 . He was given a dissertation, printed in 1899, The legal relationship from [Paragraph] 651 of the B.-G.-B to the Dr. jur. PhD. From 1904 he was city counsel and police director in Celle . From 1919 to 1920 he was a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Hanover , where he replaced the mayor Wilhelm Denicke . After his time in Celle, he became managing director of the professional association of senior municipal officials based in Berlin.
