Otto Marischka

Otto Marischka (born May 31, 1912 - † January 10, 1991 ) was an Austrian football player.

Career

The 1934/35 season Marischka first played for the Favoritner SC . With the club's relegation, he moved to SK Admira Wien , to which he belonged from 1935 to 1946 and was able to record his greatest successes with him in the position of left full-back .

In 1937 he played with the team in the competition for the Mitropapokal . Due to mutual disputes between the two quarter-finalists , both SK Admira Wien and CFC Genoa were excluded from the competition.

In the 1938/39 season he took part in the final round of the German championship and reached the final scheduled for June 18, 1939 in Berlin with the team , but which was lost to FC Schalke 04 with 0: 9; he played all eight finals including this one. His team also took part in the Tschammerpokal competition and reached the semi-finals on October 12, 1941 in Dresden - and lost to the Dresdner SC 2: 4.

From 1946 to 1949 he played for SC Wacker Wien , with which he won the Austrian championship in 1947.

National team

On August 27, 1939, he was used for the only time for the German senior national team. The international test match in Bratislava was lost 2-0 to the Slovak national team .

Marischka is the founder of the building service provider ISS Austria. In 1956 he founded the "building cleaning company Otto Marischka", which in 1971 merged with the Danish service group ISS to form ISS Marischka GesmbH, which was later renamed ISS Servisystem GmbH.
