Otto Mockenhaupt

Otto Mockenhaupt (born May 15, 1912 in Herdorf , † August 1, 1972 in Siegen ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Mockenhaupt had worked as a miner at the San Fernando iron mine in Herdorf since 1927 and was chairman of the works council there.

Mockenhaupt was a member of the district council in the district of Altenkirchen (Westerwald) and on July 1, 1953, he replaced the resigned MP Hans Böhm in the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . In the federal election in 1953 , he ran on the state list of the SPD Rhineland-Palatinate , but missed the entry into parliament. In the state elections in 1955 and 1959 , he was elected to the state parliament via state constituency 1 , to which he belonged until 1963.
