Otto Rasmussen
Otto Rasmussen (born May 2, 1845 in Berlin , † probably after 1912 ) was a German sculptor .
Life
Little is known in the literature about Rasmussen's life. He studied at the art academy in Berlin and then settled in Dresden .
Works (selection)
Rasmussen's bronze statuettes often show female and male nudes, often with mythological subjects, which he occasionally combined with horse motifs. Other of his works show dogs or lions. His works were often mounted on marble plinths .
