Otto Richter (lawyer)
Otto Richter (born May 14, 1854 in Magdeburg ; † June 24, 1933 ) was a German legal scholar.
Life
Richter studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1873 he became a corps student at Verdensia. After the exams he entered the judicial service of the Kingdom of Prussia . He came to the Imperial Statistical Office and became a professor at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin . He devoted himself to labor law , commercial law , crime statistics and worker protection legislation. In 1922 he received the ribbon of the Corps Hercynia Göttingen.
