Otto Schönhagen

Otto Schönhagen (born October 8, 1885 in Krefeld , † January 10, 1954 in Koblenz ) was a German architect and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Schönhagen studied at the TH Darmstadt . From 1917 he worked in Dresden before settling as an architect in Koblenz in 1921. In 1932 he became head of the Provincial Church Building Office in the Rhineland and was the architect of numerous Protestant church buildings such as the Evangelical Church in Waldalgesheim .

politics

Schönhagen was a co-founder of the CDU in Koblenz and a member of the Koblenz city council. 1946–1949 he was an honorary alderman and building department in Koblenz. In 1947 he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate. He moved up on April 2, 1947 for the resigned deputy Valentin Schaefer .
