Otto Zoeller

Otto Zoeller (born January 14, 1872 in Zweibrücken , † after 1937) was a German judge .

Life

His father was Ludwig von Zöller (1831-1897), President of the Zweibrücken Higher Regional Court and Councilor of the Bavarian State Parliament . Zoeller was Protestant and after graduating from the Herzog-Wolfgang-Gymnasium in Zweibrücken in 1891 he was accepted into the Maximilianeum in Munich. He passed the first state law examination in 1894 with the grade "qualified", the second in 1897 with "II". In 1898 he became a trainee lawyer at the Zweibrücken Public Prosecutor's Office. On New Years Day 1900 he became III. Public prosecutor at the regional court in Zweibrücken. Two years later he became a district judge at the Landau / Pfalz district court . In 1904 he was appointed second public prosecutor at the regional court in Landau. In 1910 he came to the district court of Munich I as advice . In the First World War he last took part in the rank of major in the Landwehr . In 1923 he became regional court director at the regional court of Munich I. In 1928 he was appointed senior public prosecutor at the Munich Higher Regional Court. In 1929 he came to the Reichsgericht . He retired on July 1, 1937.
