Otto von Aufseß

Otto von und zu Aufseß (born August 25, 1825 at Unteraufseß Castle ; † December 2, 1903 in Regensburg ) was authorized representative and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Otto von Aufseß was the son of Hans von und zu Aufseß and came from the old Franconian noble family of the von Aufseß family . He was the authorized representative for customs duties and taxes in the provinces of Brandenburg and Posen. He was also the author of the Aufsesser family history of 1888. During his studies in Erlangen in the winter semester of 1844/45 he became a member of the fraternity of the Bubenreuther and in 1846 was a co-founder of the fraternity of the gray .

Between December 1883 and October 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Franconia 3 (Forchheim) of the German Progressive Party . He won a by-election for the resigned MP Carl Herz .
