Heinrich Lauer
Heinrich Lauer (born May 27, 1934 in Săcălaz (German Sackelhausen ), Kingdom of Romania , † April 14, 2010 in Munich ) was a German writer and journalist .
Life
Heinrich Lauer was born in Săcălaz in the Banat in 1934 , his younger brother was Karl Fritz Lauer . In 1944 he fled with the family to Vienna and got to Prague via the " Kinderlandverschickung " . After traumatic experiences, which he later processed in literary terms, he was able to return to the Banat in the summer of 1946.
Heinrich Lauer attended the Timișoara technical school from 1949 to 1951. As a skilled worker , he then completed the evening lyceum there and graduated from the Nikolaus-Lenau-Lyceum in 1954 . From 1954 to 1956 he studied geography and biology and 1956–1961 German studies in Bucharest . In 1961 he completed his studies with the state examination.
From 1953 Heinrich Lauer worked as a reporter and later as an editor for the Bucharest newspaper Neuer Weg . From 1974 he worked as a proofreader for the magazine Volk und Kultur and from 1977 as editorial secretary for the new literature in Bucharest.
In 1980 he moved to Germany, where he worked as a freelance journalist and writer in Munich. Here he published full-page essays and articles in well-known publications such as Süddeutsche Zeitung , Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung , Die Zeit .
As editor of the magazine of the Deutsche Bundesbahn Schöne Welt , he wrote travel reports for over ten years.
