Otto von Buhl

Otto von Buhl (born August 29, 1842 in Stuttgart ; † November 27, 1921 there ) was a German administrative officer .

Life

Born as the son of a pharmacist and Stuttgart councilor , von Buhl studied camera sciences in Tübingen and Munich after attending high school in Stuttgart . During his studies in 1861 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity . After his studies he went through numerous stations until he was promoted to ministerial director in 1897 and to president of the Württemberg finance ministry in 1902. In 1907 he was appointed to the State Council. In 1911 he retired.

In 1902 he became a member of the First Chamber of the Württemberg Land estates for life , most recently as Vice President . In 1918 he resigned for health reasons. In 1894 he belonged as a sovereign member of the 5th Evangelical Regional Synod and in 1906 as an elected member of the 7th Synod. From 1902 to 1916 he was on the board of directors of the Society for Classical Church Music and since 1908 a member of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Conservatory for Music .
