Otto von Wölpe
Otto von Wölpe (* 1258 ; † 1307 ) was Provost of Minden . In 1298 he gave up and became Count of the County of Wölpe . In 1301 he sold it to Count Otto von Oldenburg, to whose grandfather Ludolf von Oldenburg-Bruchhausen (son of Heinrich III. Von Bruchhausen ) his sister Hedwig was married. Otto von Wölpe's brothers were Bernhard III. von Wölpe as well as Burchard and Gebhard. Otto von Wölpe therefore had the same parents as Bernhard, namely Konrad II von Wölpe (son of Bernhard II von Wölpe ) and Salome von Limmer, Wunstorf and Roden .
He had a dispute with the Minden Bishop Volkwin V. von Schwalenberg about the Nienhaus Castle, which was built by Bishop Wilhelm I von Diepholz and brokered in 1289.
In 1300 he was married according to the document and had children.
