Ottocar Johann Ernst Ludwig von Seebach , also modernized Ottokar Johann Ernst Ludwig von Seebach , (* around 1712; † June 20, 1781 in Altenburg ) was a Princely Saxony-Gotha Privy Councilor and Consistorial President as well as the owner of the manor .

Life

He came from the Thuringian noble family von Seebach and was the son of Johann (Hans) Wilhelm von Seebach (1678–1757) and his wife Anna Dorothea, born Münchhausen von Münchhausen. Friedrich Albrecht Ludwig von Seebach was his brother.

Like many members of his family, Ottocar Johann Ernst Ludwig von Seebach embarked on an administrative career in the service of the Wettins and went to the court of the Duke of Saxe-Gotha, where he first became a chamberlain and government assessor and rose to the position of Privy Councilor and President of the Evangelical Consistory .

From the paternal inheritance he received a part of the manor that enabled him to make a living.

Ottocar Johann Ernst Ludwig von Seebach married Friedericke Auguste née von Hertzberg. He left the sons Carl Ludwig Alexander, Ernst Siegmund Reinhardt, Moritz Wilhelm Friedrich and Ernst Ludwig Christian von Seebach, who inherited his fiefdom.
