Oulun Palloseura (short: OPS ) is a ball sports club founded in 1925 from the Finnish city of Oulu . The club's soccer team became Finnish champions in 1979 and 1980.
There is also a bowling and bandy department .
Football department
After the club was able to win the Finnish championship in 1979 and 1980 , the Finns each qualified for the European Cup . In both participations, Oulu failed at Liverpool FC .
Since the 2011 season, the club has played alternately with AC Oulu in the Raatin Stadium .

Bandy department
The Bandyabteilung the club won seven times from 1953 to 1964 the national championship and still plays in the top division of Finland, Bandyliiga .
