Ove Kant
Ove Ingvar Kant (born May 24, 1929 in Tegelsmora , Tierp municipality , † February 26, 1997 in Örbyhus , Tierp municipality) was a Swedish director , screenwriter and actor .
Life
Kant worked in several mainly Swedish and Norwegian television and film productions as an actor, screenwriter and director. In the Norwegian Olsenbanden film Olsenbanden og Dynamitt-Harry he took over the direction from Knut Bohwim and also made his debut as a feature film director. Despite the popular success that this film had, it was never again commissioned to direct a Norwegian film. His last involvement in the film business was 1983 as a director in the short film Uppsala Polacksbackens dag and as an actor in 1985 in the Swedish television series Svenska brott in an episode as Dr. 'Kattegåri.
