Ove Rübsamen (born October 23, 1956 in Solna ) is a former Swedish football player . In 161 games in the Allsvenskan , the offensive all-rounder scored 23 goals.

career

Rübsamen started playing football at Helenelunds IK . In 1974 he moved to the youth of Djurgårdens IF , where he made his debut in the Allsvenskan a year later. After a year of first division football, however, he returned to his home club.

At Helenelunds IK he only stayed a year and moved again to the Swedish first division. AIK, the arch rival of DIF , became a new employer . He was able to quickly fight for a regular place in the left midfield, but his first year at the club was turbulent. At the derby with DIF there was a tussle with opponent Vito Knezevic , who gave him a black eye. He also had to hit the post against IFK Norrköping when goalkeeper Leif Karlsson injured himself and the substitution quota had already been exhausted. Rübsamen conceded three goals in 27 minutes of play and the game was lost 5-0.

In the course of the following year, Rübsamen moved further in the tactical line-up at AIK and temporarily ran as a striker . On August 7, 1978 he succeeded in the 4-2 win over Kalmar FF his first first division goal for AIK, at the end of the season there were six goals this season to book. In the 1979 season he made headlines less than a goalscorer. He was sent off twice in one season.

Since AIK could only occupy one relegation place, Rübsamen only played second class with the club in 1980. Here, however, he found his way back on the road to success and was one of the guarantors for direct promotion with eleven goals this season.

Under the new coach Rolf Zetterlund , Rübsamen continued to be part of the regular staff in the first division. Initially, the team played against relegation and Rübsamen was still one of the club's top scorers. While in the 1982 season the relegation could only be relegated to relegation, the team knew how to surprise the following year. With four goals this season, Rübsamen contributed to first place in the league. In the subsequent championship round he was used in all four AIK games and scored both in the 5-2 win over Hammarby IF at the start and in the semifinals against IFK Göteborg . After a 3-0 defeat in the first leg, however, a 2-0 return win against Gothenburg was not enough for a possible final. In the following year, AIK also made it into the finals. However, they lost to IFK Norrköping in the first round and Rübsamen did not score in both games. With a fifth place in the league and thus the missed qualification for the finals, Rübsamen said goodbye to AIK after 148 first division games and 21 first division and returned to Helenelunds IK .

In 1994 Rübsamen took over his first coaching job at the amateur club Rotebro IS . In 1996 he moved to IK Bele , before he took over his parent club Helenelunds IK in 1997 . In 1998 he ended his coaching career. In addition to his coaching work, Rübsamen was also involved as a department head and chairman at his home club.
