Owen John Dolan
Owen John Dolan (born September 30, 1928 in Hawera ) is emeritus coadjutor bishop of Palmerston North .
Life
The Archbishop of Wellington , Thomas Peter McKeefry , ordained Dolan on July 21, 1954 , and Dolan was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Wellington . Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Palmerston North on November 2, 1995 .
The Bishop of Palmerston North Peter James Cullinane gave him on 10 December of the same year, the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were Cardinal Thomas Stafford Williams , Archbishop of Wellington, and Denis George Browne , Bishop of Auckland .
On September 30, 2004, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
